BILLY.
Billy lake is a Sydney-based artist, born and raised in the small town of Lennox Head.
She believes her free spirited, somewhat hippy up bringing is what inspired her interest in portraying self-love and acceptance of the female form for all that it is, which is evident throughout her work.
Billy completed her bachelor of fine arts at the national art school, Sydney. Where she majored in painting.
Whilst billy spends most of her time painting at her Milsons point studio, she enjoys spending her off days working for the local council providing murals and street art restoration.
Billy held her first solo show last august and is currently busily working away on her next solo show!

Billy has a wide range of subjects which reflect her interest in travel and pop culture.
After completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree at the National School of Art, Billy spent many years travelling the globe and taking inspiration and delved even more into her painting practice.
She juxtaposes elements of reality together with surrealism using various mixed mediums.
Her distinctive personal style emanates joy and expresses the vibrant spirit and atmosphere of her soul.
Billy brings an extensive influence of color theory, innate sense of rhythm, and compositional elements to each painting. Her art is visual poetry bursting forth with relentless energetic expression.
